Fake Rudraksha beads

Two Rudraksha beads have been boiled for 20 minutes, the one on the left is showing white deposits, whilst the one on the right is normal. It is common nowadays to sell fakes, the white deposits are the result of segments of many Rudraksha beads cut and joined together using denture glue, this is common for 10 mukhi and above. There are many such beads being sold on the internet and in India, and can easily be spotted with the naked eye.  Take a close look before purchasing and if you see glue, then its one of these. This is one of the popular methods of faking. The so called Lab certificates have no meaning as they are created by the seller himself.
