Rudraksha malas.

Traditional way.

Lord Shiva

All our Rudraksha malas are put together the tradional way as mentioned in the scriptures to give maximum benefit. In the SKANDA PURAN it mentions the only additions allowed are pearls, ruby, spatikam crystals, silver, gold and vaiduryam (lapiz lazuli).

Why 108 beads?

There are many reasons why the number 108 is used, one being there are 108 Upanishads. The number 108 is used throughout the Chinese, Buddhist, Jain, Sikh and mentioned in Islam.

The distance of the moon to earth is 108 times the diameter of the moon, as well as the diameter of the Sun is 108 times the diameter of the earth and the distance of the sun to the earth is 108 times the diameter of the sun.

The number 108 is also devided as a mala could be too long to wear, usually in 54, 36, 27, or 9 beads. The last bead is known as the meru, or the peak and marks the end of the cycle when chanting.

There is no match in the Universe to Rudraksha.
Wearing the Rudraksha with faith and love will remove all life’s obstacles and reach the Supreme. Wearing the rudraksha will not have fear of death.
Over the years countless people have had relief from stress, depression, hypertension and other nerve related issues. The electromagnetic properties of the Rudraksha have a positive effect on the bioelectrical system of the human body.
Wearing the Rudraksha will give inner strength and confidence, creating better opportunities in life.
First time wearing of rudraksha is on a Monday. Ideally a puja is done on that day upon a Shiva Lingam and its worn afterwards. Always remove at night and place in puja room or sacred spot of the house. The Rudraksha will give one a feeling of separation from society a sense of detachment, this is why they are perfect for meditation. To get most benefit from the Rudraksha they should be worn as a mala close to the heart. The Rudrakshas should ideally be worn in divisions of 108, being 54, 36, 27 etc. Wearing the mala can be felt immediately  by holding it in the palm due to the electromagnetic properties interacting with our biofield. The Rudraksha beads are believed to have potential to heal.
The simplest mantra before wearing the Rudraksha mala is “Om namah Shivaya”, the beads must touch the skin and keep out of sight of others.
The Rudraksha mala should never be worn by others, only worn by oneself as it has our energy field impregnated. The only time it’s worn by others is the passing down from generations.
The reason silver is best for Rudraksha malas is because its conductivity increases the electromagnetic powers.

* ALL MALAS should not be worn while sleeping in bed. Firstly this can break the mala, due to tossing and turning. Secondly the Rudraksha is an energy bead and one needs to unwind and relax during this time. At night its best to place the mala in a sacred spot.

*All malas are 5 mukhi unless stated.

*Our malas are not dyed. Beware many malas are dyed and unknotted.
