Suitable for: This rudraksha is the most ccommon, the five forms of Lord Shiva are said to be in this rudraksha namely Sadyojat, Ishaan, Tatpurush, Aghor and Vamdeva. Also known as Rudra Kalagni. It is said this Rudraksha controls the five elements, fire, water, air, sky, and earth. Also mentioned in the scriptures this Rudraksha monitors the blood pressure and all ailments to do with the heart combined with three beads placed in a cup of water preferably clay, soaked overnight then drank in morning on an empty stomach, is said to greatly benefit the heart.

This Rudraksha bead represents Kalagni Rudra the fierce form of Lord Shiva.This bead is the most common of all beads, and the cost is just a few rupees. The bead can be worn by anyone whether its in the form of a mala of 108+1, 54+1, 36+1, 27+1 or any other devision of 108. As a mala its ideal for japa, chanting and meditation purposes. This mala anyone can afford.
This bead is said to destroy negative thoughts and calming of emotions to create peace of mind, and therefore make on easier reach one’s goals.
This bead astrologically represents the planet Jupiter, so if one has a malefic Jupiter in their jyotish chart can affects one’s ability to gain wisdom, religious inclination, sense of morality and physically it affects obesity. This bead or several are considered the remedy.There are a couple mantras which can be recited to evoke the bead, namely Om Hreem namah, Om namah Shivaya. Most people would be wearing the Javanese variety as a mala. Any bead around 10mm and less would be from there. The larger Nepali around 18mm and above are more suited to serious devotees, such as Hindu priests and sadhus.
